Liverpool University Press (LUP), is a launch partner in the new digital library platform from Cambridge University Press (CUP).

University Publishing Online (UPO) launches in October and offers monographs from a variety of academic publishers on a single platform, with 12,000 titles incorporated so far.

Titles will be LUP branded on a bespoke area of the site called Liverpool Publishing Online and the LUP will benefit from CUP’s worldwide sales force.

Anthony Cond, Managing Director at LUP, said, “Liverpool University Press is committed to disseminating high quality academic research and the strategic partnership with CUP will enable us to maximise the global audience for monographs in ebook form.

“At the same time we will retain the Liverpool brand identity and can continue our own digital developments, including the ongoing expansion of our journals platform which hosts an ever increasing number of titles, and the development of niche products such as the Translated Texts for Historians E-Library.”
