The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) performance indicators show that 94.8% of graduates from the University of Liverpool are in employment or further study, within six months of graduating – marginally below the institution’s expected score of 94.9% and ranking the University 5th in the Russell Group.

This represents an increase of 2.6% compared to data from 2013 and a rise of 12 places in the Russell Group.

Paul Gaunt, Head of Careers and Employability said: “These new figures are very encouraging indeed. We are committed to developing the employability of graduates and linking them with our network of local, national and international employers.

“We are currently working on a new employability strategy to help us further enhance our engagement with employers and the University’s wider student and graduate community to produce highly skilled individuals, ready to step into careers anywhere in the world.
