Dr Helen O’Sullivan, Director of the Centre for Excellence in Evidence Based Learning and Teaching and Jayne Garner, Research Fellow in Health Services Research, received the inaugural award for their paper ‘Facebook and the professional behaviours of undergraduate medical students’.

In announcing the award, Editor of The Clinical Teacher, Professor Steve Trumble, said: “The award is given to the paper that our editorial board feels has made the greatest impact on the field of medical education from the perspective of clinicians who teach.”
